A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (business, engineering, social sciences, etc.). Non-STEM applicants must demonstrate quantitative proficiency via coursework, and have intermediate-level knowledge in IT/IS or business, demonstrated by completing relevant undergraduate courses or having related work experience.
Preferred but not mandatory; early-career professionals and career-changers are encouraged to apply.
Two academic or professional references attesting to the applicant’s analytical and leadership potential.
Applicants whose qualifications are from institutions where the medium of instruction is not English must meet the following minimum English proficiency requirements:
TOEFL and IELTS scores are considered valid for two years. Applicants are required to provide their English test results obtained within the two years preceding the commencement of the University's application period.
Applicants are required to arrange with the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to send their TOEFL results directly to the University. The TOEFL institution code for HKBU is 9467.
Shortlisted candidates participate in a panel interview assessing problem-solving skills and ethical reasoning.
